New bow for Pops

Ok, so the Rubino Films pro staff decided that we had enough of our pops using his old huge hard to pull back bow. We shopped around and bough him a fully loaded Fred Bear 2010 bow package on eBay for $299 plus shipping. We got it in the mail, he bought some arrows, we sighted it in for him and now all he has to do is practice with it and he's ready to go. Now we just have to put him in a spot and get him a big trophy for the wall!

Keep them hunting, that's a good thing you did. Young or old everyine shold enjoy bowhunting for as long as they can. My buddy's uncle took a beautiful 8 pntr with a custom recurve at 40+ yards in Orange County 2 years ago. It was a real emotional hunt. Uncle Jerry was 75 when he took that deer and he still bowhunts every year, with his cedar shaft arrows and custom made recurve.

Yup it felt good to give our dad the bow, I would love to film him take a nice buck with it this season. He doesn't like to hunt in stands, so John and I found a great spot for him to sit out back behind my house that usually has a lot of deer activity. This is currently where we have one of our trail cameras. We are going to check them this weekend when we go upstate, hopefully there will be some nice bucks on them. My dad is going to shoot the bow for the first time Saturday we are all really excited. I had it shooting night groups Yup it felt good to give our dad the bow, I would love to f
